Connection

The Millennium Bridge

As a group, we wanted to explore the connection the Millennium Bridge created in London. The bridge, also known as the 'wobbly bridge', was designed in 1999 and opened in June 2000. It connects the historic St. Paul's Cathedral to the more recent Tate Modern, designed in the 19th century. A visual connection is also created between the two areas when traversing the bridge. This connection unifies two periods of history in London that were previously disconnected.
